Jessica Leibe is a New Jersey-based writer whose work has appeared in Fangoria, The Big Smoke, Writing and Wellness, Craft Better Books, and House Digest. She’s worked as a bookseller, nonprofit program assistant, communications coordinator, and freelance copywriter.
She’s passionate about telling stories that empower readers to live their most authentic lives and raise awareness about asexuality. Jessica is the author of “Simply Writing,” a Substack where she shares essays and reflections about writing, books, asexuality, and more.
Aside from writing, Jessica loves horror movies, yoga, and the White Mountains of New Hampshire. She’s an avid reader and a former martial arts student. An Aries Sun, Sagittarius Moon, and Cancer Rising, Jessica embraces both her planner tendencies and her preference to go with the flow. An introverted homebody, she finds joy in slow, intentional living while cherishing opportunities to explore new places and experiences.
One of her goals is to bring more awareness to asexuality with the means she knows best: writing. Her memoir chronicles her journey of discovering her asexuality and how it shaped her past relationships and future endeavors.
Jessica is currently writing an adult horror novel and preparing an essay collection about her love of horror movies.
